Installation - QuPath-OMERO extension

Description

In this section, we will cover the steps required to install the OMERO plugin for QuPath.There are currently 3 QuPath-OMERO extensions plugins:

1. QuPath - original author Pete Bankhead (University of Edinburgh)

2. Glencoe Software Inc - OMERO Plus vendor (Crick’s installation)

3. BIOP - EPFL Switzerland

Each of the above have some advantages and disadvantages. The first 2 have some bugs on a small number set of images. The last one is hard to install especially on Apple Silicon cpus in Apple Macs.

Installation - OnDemand QuPath-OMERO

Instead of installing local QuPath installation on your laptop, we would recommend you to use OnDemand QuPath with OMERO extensions. Please follow the instruction with the following link: Setting up QuPath-OMERO OnDemand
