Installation - QuPath-OMERO extension

Description

In this section, we will cover the steps required to install the OMERO plugin for QuPath.There are currently 3 QuPath-OMERO extensions plugins:

1. QuPath - original author Pete Bankhead (University of Edinburgh)

2. Glencoe Software Inc - OMERO Plus vendor (Crick’s installation)

3. BIOP - EPFL Switzerland

Each of the above have some advantages and disadvantages. The first 2 have some bugs on a small number set of images. The last one is hard to install especially on Apple Silicon cpus in Apple Macs.

Installation

Due to the problems of installation of some of these extensions due to OS and libraries incompatibilty, we have decided that it would be easier if you contact us and we shall install that for you. Please contact kenneth.ho@crick.ac.uk for installing QuPath-OMERO extension.
