Installation - QuPath-OMERO extension

Description (updated 23 April 2026)

In this section, we will cover the steps required to install the OMERO plugin for QuPath.

• Download and install the most recent version of QuPath https://qupath.github.io/

• The current latest version is v0.7.0

• Install the OMERO plugin

• to do this go to extensions > manage extensions in QuPath.

• Install the QuPath OMERO extension INCLUDING DEPENDENCIES.

• Restart QuPath

• In Extensions menu you now have OMERO > Browse server > New server

• Paste in the following address:

• https://omero-prod.camp.thecrick.org (works onsite or offsite with VPN)

• along with your normal username and password

• For offsite without VPN use https://omero-prod.crick.ac.uk

Installation - OnDemand QuPath-OMERO

Instead of installing local QuPath installation on your laptop, we would recommend you to use OnDemand QuPath with OMERO extensions. Please follow the instruction on the following link: `Setting up QuPath-OMERO OnDemand`_
